We're dead. Send flowers.
We've been dodging the questions of "When's your next show?" for awhile so it's probably time we fill you in. Over the last few months, distance, master's degrees, work and marriage have made our situations very different from what they were when we started this band and we've come to the point we're at now. We're sorry to announce that we'll be putting TCOAT to rest.
We've been playing together for about 6 years now and we're all very proud of what we've done and we'd rather be able to go out with a bang than with a whimper. We've been really lucky to be able to put our friendships first and continue as the same 4 guys having fun for as long as we have and we've been even luckier to have made so many new friends as a result of doing it for this long. Knowing that the songs we wrote together in a barn were enjoyed by others made it all that much better.
We've been talking of our intentions for the new record for a long time and, sadly that record will never be made. However, for those that are interested in hearing the songs in a stripped down fashion, we'll be posting home recordings of acoustic versions of the songs that would have been the new record. We're really proud of them and we want people to be able to hear them.
The happy news is that we'll be doing one final show at our unofficial home, Cedars Lounge. Here's the skinny…

Last Call for
The Champions of All Time
With
The Kellys
10pm
We'd really like to see the place full of friendly faces singing along with us one last time. Hopefully you can be there.
Without listing the name of every person who's ever been a friend to this band, we all want everyone to know how much we've appreciated every person who's checked out a show, picked up a cd, screamed along to the songs or just nodded along. If it weren't for you, it would never have been so much fun.
Thanks for everything.
The Champions of All Time
